To be happy, who doens’t find that a satisfying feeling?
But today we struggle a lot with our feelings and freedom of choice.
What makes us happy and what decision makes us happy?
Especially the younger generation have enormous problems with finding their way in life.
Aristotle wrote about the pursuit of happiness, which he called “Eudaimonia”.
This was the highest achievement in his Virtue Ethics.
He writes about how you can make yourself happy, if you can make a wise choice in your own behavior.
You can achieve this wise choise, if you choose for the centre in two excesses of a certain behavior, the middle he calls the Virtue.
These virtues and vices are still applicable on our current norms and values.
I hope the younger generation can use these illustrated vices and virtues to apply them on their own life, for a more happy and understanding journey of life.
